Sunday Six
Nov. 4th, 2012 04:18 pmEach Sunday, post six sentences from a writing project -- published, submitted, in progress, for your cat -- whatever.
Someone else on my F-list is doing this, and it looked interesting. So, this week, I'll give you six sentences from the chapter I finished last night. The last six, actually. This is only the first draft, so a lot of it will probably change by the time it goes up.
I won't give away what Fandral did to Loki, or what Loki did to get back at him, but I will say that these events represent a turning point in Loki's character. He's grown up, and become very close to the character he is in canon. He's also finally started to win the respect of Asgard through his own deeds, but by this point, he's gone so long without it that he's not quite sure what to do with it, which is where the whole AU part really starts to come into play.

"Don't ever humiliate me like that again," he said with a voice like steel.
"It was all you," Fandral realised, suddenly furious. "You did—"
"And good luck convincing anyone of it," Loki said. "By midday, the entire court will know you as a liar."
As Fandral glared at him, Loki replaced his cheery expression and ran off to catch up with Vali and Alv for their football game.
