Kitty Cat Update and Chat

Things may be going in a positive direction? Maybe? Apparently no-where in the greater Portland Metro area will take surrenders, or even strays right now, and even our connection with someone who does kitty cat foster care couldn't take them.

We did manage to get in on a cheap programme through the humane society, though. For $200, they'll be able to fix both the boys. And apparently the place we went to first has a long history of making shit up to make you pay more, so it's entirely possible Cosmo doesn't even have anything wrong with him at all. Dexter is still a one-nutted little bastard, though, and will need surgery regardless.

I'm still climbing the walls though. This whole thing has just been stressing me the fuck out and I sort of want to curl up somewhere dark and just ignore everything. Augh!



On a completely unrelated tangent, I find myself baffled that chats for the Avenger-shaped fandoms don't exist. Every fandom I've been in has had chat rooms and stuff either attached to their big fic comms or to their kinkmemes. I've not seen any. So I've made #ShawarmaPalace. I am getting very, very sick of Google's inability to stay logged-in when I try to put my story in Gdocs. I think it may be that it doesn't know how to handle a document more than about 7k, which makes me wonder how people manage to write longfic with Google as their primary word processor.

Come on, Google. You used to be awesome. What happened?
