That's today. Now, to catch up on the rest of the week:
Mama Bear deserves to be tattled on. Saturday, I woke up and found her watching horrible Hallmark Christmas movies. She said no-one was to know, and switched the telly to something else. Sunday, I woke up and she was watching horrible Lifetime Christmas movies. That time, even she agreed that she deserved th be tattled on, so she just left the horrible Christmas movies going.
I'm going to have Thanksgiving four times this week. And probably no birthday at all. Because Thanksgiving sucks and is happening four times this week. I've always hated this holiday, but I especially hate it when it happens more than once a year. I hate it for petty, stupid, selfish reasons, but I don't care. I never had a proper birthday party as a kid, and that's enough to make anyone bitter and petty over it. Now, I prefer to either spend my day locked inside with a cheesecake and some expensive alcohol, or somewhere awesome, like Disneyland. Damnit. This is almost as bad as being a Christmas baby, but with added Russian Roulette because my birthday isn't always on the holiday itself.
Apparently, there was an earthquake today. I was asleep and didn't hear about it until about 20 minutes ago. Whoops.

What else? Oh. Finished my Avengers Exchange fic last night. It's all typed up and ready to be beta'ed, but I can't post it until next month. I hate that. I also finally got the penultimate chapter of Those Who Hunt Monsters up. Now to actually start working on my Yuletide.
I'm also seriously avoiding everything RL-related the last few days. I've been deflecting a lot, and not really talking about anything. That might be a bit obvious, but I don't care. Whatever. I deal with depression by not dealing with it, which isn't exactly the best thing to do, but that's no insurance for you. I know what happened. Robin Hood knows what happened. That's all that matters. As far as everyone in the house is concerned, I was just having another Day (when my back hurts or I'm unable to keep anything down, due to other health issues, I am having a Day, and I just stay in bed. That's what Robin Hood told Mama and Papa Bear about the other day, apparently. I am OK with that).
I've also been really, really bad at remembering to crosspost to LJ lately. I'll try to get back on that.
I am now having coffee and contemplating going to read some fic in the bath. I've put a few more on my phone, but every time I think about going to read, my battery's dying.
