Tumblr, you arse
Jan. 26th, 2013 09:04 pmYep, I'm very annoyed. I don't want to just flounce off, but what choice have I got, really? It takes ages just for my dash to load, and forget reblogging anything at all, which is pretty much all I do. I spend a lot of time in the Tom Hiddleston and Loki tags. Those things can both move fairly quickly, so it's really easy to find myself 20 pages into them.
I don't use endless scrolling, because it's a drain on my internet. I use Missing E and Tumblr Saviour to make Tumblr even less of a drain on my internet.
Do you know what I don't like? Being 20 pages into a tag, seeing a picture I've never seen before, reblogging it, and getting spat back to the front of my dashboard. If I wanted to be on my dashboard, I would be on my dashboard.
I watch 54 blogs over there. When I get up in the morning, I tend to have about 15 new pages on my dash. Today, I didn't turn on my computer until almost 1pm. I went to bed at midnight last night. I had five new pages, mostly people declaring their intent to stop posting for a while, or painstakingly reblogging arguments against the new Tumblr layout.
I was finally getting the hang of fandom on Tumblr. Oh well.
