Why I have approximately 800 pseuds
Jan. 2nd, 2021 04:16 pmMy one wish for AO3 is a blog/message system that allows authors to notify subscribers of things. It would be great, because this way of letting people know something really doesn’t work. Like. At all. Even if we were only limited to one per week, or something like that, it would be nice to have.
Anyway. I could complain about AO3 all day. But if you’re seeing this, it’s probably because you either follow me over there, or stumbled upon this fic somehow. If the latter is the case, hello!
I did something that took way too long to do, and probably isn’t even worth it in the end. But I split up my AO3 account into a bunch of different pseuds. I tend to change my username for each new fandom, which is confusing for a lot of people. I should have done this before but OH WELL. Now each fandom has its own little name attached to it, and GODDAMN am I surprised that I was able to grab LokiOfSassgaard. Maybe pseuds work differently, but that really surprised me. That bitch isn’t available anywhere.
My main pseud is pretty much always going to be whichever one I’m most active on. Right now, that’s Milesy. That may change in the future if I can ever find something I like. No matter which one you follow, you’ll get alerts for everything. I’m not sure how much I like that, but it also means you’re likely to see this little note. Maybe. idk. We’ll see.
I’ve got some big things planned for this year. I want to dust off some of those old pseuds, and clean up the tags on all of my dungeon fics. I did not realise that the vast majority of my work was in the dungeon. Whoops.
Anyway. Doing it this way should hopefully give followers an easier way to tell at a glance what’s getting uploaded. Especially since I really want to get back to writing MCU fic, and maybe even Sherlock if I can get over my breakup with that fandom.
