What I wrote last night
Feb. 2nd, 2021 06:13 pmLoki looked to the other two, and when they offered no explanation, he returned his attention to the equipment scattered on tables.
"Impressive operation you have here," he said. "What exactly are you studying?"
"Space stuff," Darcy said.
"Gravitational anomalies," Erik said over her.
They both looked at eachother, and Darcy shrugged.
"Jane thinks the phenomenon we saw tonight might be some sort of bridge or wormhole," Erik said, picking his words with care to make sure Loki under stood.
This was bad. This was very bad. The humans even being aware of this technology posed a tremendous threat to his continued residence in their realm. He already knew both SHIELD and SWORD were working on expanding their knowledge on the subject, but if unaffiliated scientists were figuring it out, the information would spread like wildfire.
"A bridge to where?" Loki asked.
Erik shrugged. "Who knows," he said. "It's just a hypothesis. Before tonight, we didn't have any real data on it."
Loki wasn't sold. He needed to stay, and figure out a way to keep this knowledge out of the newspapers.
He shook his head. "It's all way over my head," he said.
